The United Way Hartwell Lewis Volunteer Service Award is presented annually to the individual or organization who best exemplifies and supports our mission to be recognized as the best caring choice for donors and to provide financial support for local health and human service agencies benefiting our people.
The criteria of the award are as follows:
1.
Involvement in
the United Way for South Louisiana: i.e. serving on
- Fund Distribution Committee
- Board of Directors
- Finance Committee
- Personnel Committee, etc.
2. Involvement with
United Way for South Louisiana yearly campaign
3. Number of years involved with United Way for South Louisiana
4.
Other community
involvement: i.e. involvement with
- United Way Member Agencies
- Civic Organizations
